Spring Orientation involves an afternoon full of information for incoming students who are beginning their Hokie career in January. The day starts off with check-in and a resource fair, followed by an afternoon of orientation activities.

During your orientation session, you will learn about university services and resources, interact with academic representatives from your college and meet with current students to have your questions answered about student life at Virginia Tech. Our goal is to give you the information you need to feel comfortable and confident in starting your course work.

You are welcome to bring up to two parents/family members your orientation session. During Spring Orientation, your parents/family members will attend the Families as Partners session. This session provides an overview of important resources and what your parents/family members can expect as you navigate the college experience at Virginia Tech.

Lunch will be provided for all incoming students and up to two parents/family members for orientation and lunch.
